Manchester United striker Kiko Macheda is aiming to put his ill-fated loan at Sampdoria behind him.
Macheda had a difficult six months at the relegated club.
"I had come to Genova with great enthusiasm. The first few games I did very well, just like the whole team, then after the defeat to Napoli I failed to find more continuity.
"Even psychologically it hurt because it was not easy to find yourself going from United to Sampdoria and fighting for safety.
"Relegation? I do not know what to say. I wanted to experience a strong team in Italy, now I hope to stay in the Premier League. England is most suitable for a young man."
