Man Utd step up bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Lewandowski

Manchester United are determined to win the race for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.

The Mail on Sunday says United will try to exploit the bitter rivalry between German clubs Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund by making a £25million swoop for Dortmund striker Lewandowski.

Bayern have denied signing an agreement for Lewandowski, whose partnership with current United player Shinji Kagawa was the key to Dortmund winning successive Bundesliga titles before surrendering it to Bayern this season.
