Paul Pogba insists Raphael Varane has needed no help to settle in at Manchester United.
Varane, signed from Real Madrid this summer, has been training with his new teammates after being an unused substitute against Southampton last weekend.
Pogba plays with Varane for France, but insists the four-time Champions League has had no problems acclimatising to his new surroundings.
Asked by our reporter Stewart Gardner on Wednesday if he has helped his friend settle at United, Pogba replied: "I think he doesn't need me to settle in.
"He just settles in by himself. He is someone very mature, a very good guy. I think you can see he is very good with everyone already. He is really good in the changing room, which is very important in football.
"He's a top man, a top player and brings his experience, his quality and his personality, even outside the pitch, to help the team."
