PSV Eindhoven ace Memphis Depay is excited about moving to Manchester United.

Depay's deal was confirmed on Thursday.

"It's fantastic! A dream come true. It's a very big step to a very big competition," he told PSV's website.

Depay received applause and good wishes from his team-mates in training on Thursday.

"When all the players come to you and wish you good luck, that says it all about this last season."

Asked about working with United manager Louis van Gaal, Depay added: "Yes, that feeling was good, I know the trainer very well.

"We have a good relationship. It was a little difficult with all the speculation about my future, but now I've chosen to sign for Manchester United and my dream came true. It shows that I've grown up as a player."
