Former Manchester United scout Patrik Andersson has revealed the club has been considering dropping their scouting network in Holland.
Andersson was discussing rumours of United being interested in AZ Alkmaar midfielder Rasmus Elm.
He revealed to fotbollskanalen.se: "We had two people in Holland who scouted the market there. All I know is that the talk was that the club would close down the market in Holland because there was not enough players good enough for United.
"But since then, I don't know what has happened since I left in June."
