James Wilson will leave Manchester United this summer.

Wilson, who was once seen as a bright prospect at the club, failed to make the grade after being dealt several injury setbacks.

He has not played for United in four years and spent the season on loan at Aberdeen.

He did not impress at the Scottish club.

According to the Manchester Evening News, United will release Wilson as they will not take up a one year option to extend his contract.
