Manchester United are showing considerable interest in Asmir Begovic according to reports.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are seeking a cut-price deal for the Stoke City goalkeeper who has been linked with a summer exit from the Britannia Stadium.

United are fearing they may lose David De Gea to Real Madrid at the end of the season so have placed Begovic behind Tottenham's Hugo Lloris in their contingency plan.

It is believed that 27-year old Bosnia-Herzegovina international Begovic is available for around £8million.
