Manchester United striker Michael Owen is likely to be sidelined for up to three weeks with his latest groin injury.
The former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Newcastle United man hurt his groin against Wolfsburg in the Champions League on Wednesday with boss Sir Alex Ferguson playing down the extent of the problem.
Injury-prone Owen will now be out for the Premier League clashes with Sunderland and Bolton and will not be considered for Fabio Capello's England squad for the final World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Belarus.
