Manchester United winger Nani is the latest victim of the World Cup curse and will take no part in the tournament.

The 23-year old injured his shoulder in Portugal training on Friday and tests since have revealed that he will not be fit to take part any matches.

The Portuguese federation released a statement confirming Nani would be out: "After tests we conclude he is unfit to participate in the World Cup."

Nani will be replaced by Benfice midfielder Ruben Amorim.
