Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata believes David de Gea will become one of the best goalkeepers in the world before too long.
The 23-year old gloveman was named the United Players' Player of the Year as well as the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year which was voted for by the club's supporters after an outstanding 2013/14 campaign.
In tribute to his compatriot, Spaniard Mata praised de Gea for his efforts and suggested he would go on to be one of the top few keepers in world football during his career.
"The big prize was for De Gea and I was honoured to present it: United's Player of the Year, voted for both by the fans and the players," Mata posted on his official website, www.juanmata10.com.
"It's the first time that the trophy goes to a United goalkeeper and David deserves a lot of credit for that.
"He's got amazing qualities and he may become one of the best goalkeepers in the world - I believe so."
