Angel Di Maria has made his intentions to remain with Manchester United clear.

The Sunday People reported that the Argentine winger, who has been heavily linked with a summer exit, has told manager Louis van Gaal he wants to remain with the Red Devils.

Di Maria, who joined from Real Madrid for £59.7million last summer, has plans to extend the lease on his apartment in the centre of Manchester suggesting that he is determined to stay put at Old Trafford past his first 12 months.

The 27-year old has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain in recent months but it appears as though he is keen to push forward under van Gaal at the Theatre of Dreams.
