Manchester United have been encouraged in their interest for Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller. The Daily Star says Muller, 25, has been heavily linked with a move to the Theatre of Dreams in recent months and it's believed Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is keen to lure the German international, who he managed during his time as Bayern boss, to the Premier League.
And the Dutchman will be boosted by the news the Bayern hitman is willing to leave Bavaria.
Muller is desperate for a change of scenery and has told his agent to secure him a move away from the Allianz Arena.
Real Madrid also are interested in Muller, if they can sell Gareth Bale.
He said over last summer: "It's no secret that Louis van Gaal and I have a relationship that goes a little beyond the normal relationship between coaches and players.
"[But] I have a contract with Bayern Munich until summer 2017."
