Manchester United are set to accept losing Andre Onana to the Africa Cup of Nations this season.
The Cameroonian shot stopper was retired from international football when he signed for the club in the summer from Inter Milan.
However, Onana has gone back to his national team, helping them qualify for AFCON this fall.
Per The Mirror, Onana will be heading to the tournament in January and February.
United could lose Onana for up to six games, depending on how far his side progress in the competition.
The Red Devils will have to rely on backup Altay Bayindir, signed from Fenerbahce in the summer.
The source adds that United are not planning to sign any short term cover for Onana in January.
