Manchester United could be close to a decision on the future of a suspended first team star.
The Red Devils have been deliberating about Mason Greenwood, who was released by the Crown Prosecution Service and not charged after a long-term investigation.
Per The Athletic, United may be prepared to allow Greenwood to leave the club on loan.
He has not been told to return to training and United are exploring places for him to move temporarily.
The club may believe it is the best way for him to reintegrate into football, away from the pressures of United.
He may then be brought back into manager Erik ten Hag's first team in January or the 2024/2025 season.
