Manchester United boss David Moyes is having Marco Reus watched ahead of the January market. The Times says Moyes sent his assistant manager sent Steve Round and veteran coach Jimmy Lumsden to watch Reus this week in action for Borussia Dortmund.
The Germany international was outstanding in BVB's comfortable Champions League win over Napoli.
It's understood Reus' current deal carries a 35 million buyout clause.
There is talk of Shinji Kagawa being offered in part-exchange, though the Japan midfielder's performance against Bayer Leverkusen is likely to have convinced Moyes to keep him on.
