Manchester United target Leo Baptistao is a former indoor soccer star.
The Daily Mail says United's Martin Ferguson was among a clutch of scouts, including those from Liverpool, Wigan and QPR who watched Rayo Vallecano defeat Getafe on Monday night.
It is understood that Vallecano striker Leo Baptistao was among those being watched. The 20-year-old has scored six times in 17 La Liga appearances since stepping into the main striking role vacated by Michu.
Baptistao's rise to prominence has been slow as a result of two serious arm injuries, as well as a bout of hepatitis, according to reports in Spain.
He first came to Europe after impressing scouts with his close control during indoor matches, where he played alongside the much-coveted Neymar.
