Man Utd ponder bid for Ronaldo's Al Nassr teammate Aboubakar

Manchester United may be willing to do Cristiano Ronaldo a favour despite the break in their relationship.

Ronaldo had his contract canceled after an unsanctioned interview with Piers Morgan, where he criticized nearly every aspect of the club.

The 37-year-old is now at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, waiting to make his debut due to a registration issue.

“Al Nassr has not registered him yet because there is no vacancy for a foreign player," an unnamed Al Nassr official told AFP.

“A foreign player must leave to register Ronaldo, either by selling or by terminating the contract by mutual consent."

Saudi outlet OKAZ now states that Vincent Aboubakar could be making way in the squad for Ronaldo, as they play in the same position.

The source adds the former Porto forward is being linked to Man United and Fenerbahce.
