Both teams used the game as a chance to get minutes for their fringe players.

United saw Donny van de Beek and Antony starting, but Kobbie Mainoo missed out.

The youngster was hoping to make his comeback from injury, but the game was too soon for him to feature.

United will be hoping to have several fringe players back in action after the international break.
