Premier League champions Manchester United have agreed to play a friendly against Scottish side Ross County on July 20.
That is the same date as they are due to take on the A-League All-Stars at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney making it a compromised fixture.
A United XI will head to Dingwall to meet the Staggies for the first game on the newly-laid turf at Victoria Park whilst the other half of David Moyes' squad will be in Australia facing the A-League selection.
It is believed that a slightly stronger group will be in Sydney to tackle the best from Australia's burgeoning top flight.
