Man Utd open to adding Greenwood to squad

Manchester United are set to gauge opinion from their first team squad regarding Mason Greenwood.

The forward, who was ultimately not charged by police after his arrest for alleged physical abuse and rape, has not played for United since January 2022.

Per ESPN, United will discuss Greenwood with everyone in the first team squad before making any decisions.

Previous reports stated the first team was split on whether he should be allowed back.

A report in the British press also stated that many in United's women's team had concerns about sharing training facilities with Greenwood.

Per The Times, some United first teamers have huge concerns about Greenwood, while others are ambivalent.
