Manchester United are offering Benfica defender Ezequiel Garay a long-term deal.
It emerged this week that United and Benfica struck an agreement over Garay in January which would see the Argentine move to Old Trafford this summer. However, the deal became in jeopardy due to Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement.
The Daily Star says United are poised to confirm the £17m signing of Benfica's Garay, 26, on a four-year contract.
