Phil Neville has urged Louis van Gaal to do everything in his power to keep David De Gea at the club.
The 24-year old Spanish goalkeeper was by far United's best player this season which culminated in him winning the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award on Tuesday night.
De Gea is being heavily linked with a summer move to Real Madrid but former midfielder Neville suggests the club has to keep him if they want to chase silverware next term.
"They need to keep David de Gea - without him, they wouldn't have finished in the top four this year so that's probably the key one on Louis van Gaal's mind," Neville told Sky Sports News HQ.
