Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard is determined to continue his stunning form with Birmingham City.

Four goals on debut has ratcheted the expectation levels up a few notches now.

Lingard told the Birmingham Mail: "I know. Hopefully I can carry on this form. I have got to keep my feet on the ground. I can't get too overjoyed, to be honest.

"I have just got to keep working hard day in, day out. I think the team has got a lot of confidence now. We played really well. I am glad we got the three points in the end, which was massive for this club.

"I know we haven't got off to the best of starts but hopefully this will have changed that."
