Manchester United boss David Moyes says Shinji Kagawa has been laid low by a virus.

Kagawa will be missing for today's game with Newcastle United.

The Japanese star became ill with a sickness bug straight after Wednesday's 1-0 home defeat by Everton.

Moyes said: "Shinji has a sickness bug and we need to see how he is on Saturday but he wasn't too good after the game."
