Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind is happy to take on a leadership role at Old Trafford.
United boss Louis van Gaal nominated Blind as a potential leader when comparing him with his father, Danny Blind.
"I read it," 24-year-old Daley said.
"I hope I become a bit of a leader like my dad was, but I am still young. I am still improving and this is a new era for me, coming to a new area.
"But I can be that (a leader). I have to learn it and have to keep it up but I am learning every day, including about being a leader."
