Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson may rest Edwin van der Sar for the remaining two games of the Premiership season to keep him fresh for the Champions League final.
The Times says the 37-year-old has barely trained in recent weeks because of a persistent groin injury and, although he hopes to play tomorrow against West Ham and away to Wigan Athletic eight days later, he will not complain if Ferguson prefers Tomasz Kuszczak or Ben Foster for one of the matches.
