Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer backed youngster Mason Greenwood when he had a row with Alexis Sanchez last season.
Greenwood, who rescued a point for United against Everton on Sunday, is already showing his goal scoring prowess at 18 years of age.
And according to the Athletic, when he had a row with Sanchez, Solskjaer sided with the academy product.
Sanchez was reportedly unhappy at a rough tackle from Greenwood during a training session last season.
But Solskjaer did not reprimand Greenwood, and when the summer transfer window came it was Sanchez who departed for Inter Milan on loan.
Greenwood has scored 7 goals for United this season.
