Ajax chief Marc Overmars admits they're prepared to sell Christian Eriksen in January. The Dane has baulked at discussing new terms with Ajax and as he has less than two years to run on his contract. Overmars admits the time has arrived to sell.

"You are welcome to write again Christian is staying with us, but there is nothing new. We'll see what happens next year, after December when the market opens. Obviously we are talking with him and his agent," Overmars told sporten.dk.
