Manchester United face competition for Torino defender Angelo Ogbonna.

The People says United have stepped up their search for defenders capable of replacing Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.

Ogbonna, 24, has impressed and has been watched several times by United spies. He is an Italian international and has a growing number of admirers in England - including Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Everton chief David Moyes.
