Manchester United are being linked with AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli.

ESPN says United are in the market for a new centre-half this summer and have expressed interest in Romagnoli.

A bid of €35m is being prepared for the 25 year-old ahead of the close season transfer window.

Romagnoli, an Italy international, has managed 35 appearances for the Rossonero this season.

The defender's deal runs to 2022 and he's represented by Mino Raiola.
