Manchester United legends Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs were in attendance for Salford City's latest game on the weekend.
The pair are reported to be in talks about buying the club.
Giggs and Neville, along with former teammates Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes, stood behind the goalline for the eighth-tier side's match against Curzon Ashtons at Moor Lane on Saturday.
While the local side went down 2-0 to an own goal and a penalty, their attendance fuels reports that Giggs and Neville are in talks with the club to take it over and establish an academy to develop young players.
