Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini banished new signing Ruud van Nistelrooy from training yesterday.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, along with Duda and Kris Stadsgaard, arrived four minutes late for morning training at 8am yesterday.

Pellegrini was unimpressed, particularly as they arrived in a golf kart, says AS, and ordered them to go back to the team hotel.

All was forgiven later in the morning, however, as all three players took part in the 11:30am session.
