Manchester United legend Bryan Robson is adamant the club will return to the top under Louis van Gaal.
Robson said that Van Gaal was a great fit for United and that the results would be seen within a year.
"He is an intelligent manager with a plan. He has the support of the dressing room and we will see results within a year. He is more like Ferguson than Moyes," Robson told the Sunday World.
The former Middlesbrough and West Brom manager said that the New Year will see a dramatic improvement in the team's performance as the team embrace Van Gael's methods.
"We are on the right track and will come back. Nobody really can doubt that."
