Man Utd legend Keane slams derby players: 2 bookings? Hugs a plenty? What's going on?!

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has slammed the chummy attitude of the players at the end of Saturday's 0-0 draw with Manchester City.

The usually intense fixture produced only two yellow cards, and it finished with John Stones and Harry Maguire enjoying a hug and pleasantries at full time.

Former United captain Keane was in attendance at the match as a pundit for Sky Sports, and he was left baffled and mystified afterwards.

In another of his famed rants, the Irishman said: “We can make a lot of excuses but just on today's game, really poor.

“I'm looking at teams towards the end of the game with the quality they've got the desire to try and win the game of football?

“We've got two bookings in a derby game, I've never seen so many hugs and chats after a game. It's a derby game, I'm scratching my head, I'm really frustrated because you've got to go and win the game.

“You have to try and find a way to win a game of football."

He continued: “The lack of quality and end product from both teams was really poor and I'm really disappointed.

“These clubs have had success over the last few years from trying to win matches. You've got to gamble a bit.

“I'm not saying getting seven or eight people in the box. You don't settle for draws."
