Manchester United legend Nicky Butt hopes Paul Pogba doesn't quit the club.
Butt hopes Pogba's re-emergence on the first-team scene in the last fortnight points to a bright future at United for him.
"But we got looked after by the club. They were always very fair. But it is different now and players have advisers going into bat for them and promising this and that.
"Sir Alex Ferguson said recently that he recalls Sir Matt Busby saying that United players don't need to chase money because it will find them.
"It is very true. If you play for any length of time at Old Trafford then you will be financially secure for life. You don't want for anything.
"And in terms of the football, there is no better place to do it. It is a great career at United. Paul Pogba only has to look at the likes of Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs to see what he can achieve. You cannot ignore those examples.""Times have changed and young players get a lot of outside advice nowadays and you have to accept the way it is," Butt told the Manchester Evening News. "We didn't get much of a choice in those days - it was take it or leave it! We didn't really have anyone looking after us apart from an accountant. David Beckham was one of the first to get an agent because of all the off-field work he was doing.
