LA Galaxy ace David Beckham has made Great Britain's extended squad list.
GB boss Stuart Pearce has drawn up a list of 80 players from an original 191.
Manchester United legend Becks, part of the bid team which helped bring the Olympics to London, will now be hoping to make the final squad of 18 in about six weeks' time.
It will comprise 15 youngsters born after January 1, 1989 and three over-age picks. Becks will be 37 when the Games open.
