Man Utd keeper Romero sees Inter Miami move fall through

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero has seen a move to Inter Miami fall through.

Talks with David Beckham's new club Inter Miami came to nothing with the MLS transfer window due to close in the early hours of Friday morning, says the Daily Mail.

The Argentine goalkeeper is now set to stay at United until January – or even the end of his contract in June – unless the two sides can agree terms to rip up his £100,000-a-week deal before then.

However, it's understood that Romero is in no mood to do United any favours after being upset at his treatment by the club.

The 33-year-old's hopes of joining Everton were dashed when United demanded a fee, and he was then left out of both the Premier League and Champions League squads this season following Dean Henderson's return to Old Trafford as No.2 to David de Gea.
