Man Utd keeper Romero on Argentina flight return: Everyone looked at eachother oddly

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero has spoken of the nervousness during his return to Argentina.

Romero returned to his homeland as the UK underwent their coronavirus lockdown.

He recalled: "It was very, very difficult, because I had to drive from Manchester to London (about 300 km) and then I took a plane to Paris.

"There weren't many people at the airport, but everyone was keeping their distance. Everyone was very nervous or looking badly at the neighbor, because sometimes people tend to sneeze or touch their noses. Probably nobody had nothing, but everyone looked at each other oddly.

"On the plane, I decided to sit down and not move for 14 hours. I didn't eat or go to the bathroom, because you never know how people can react. When I arrived in Argentina, I had to stay 14 days in a hotel for quarantine."
