Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has suffered the embarrassment of having his flash Jaguar towed.

The Daily Mail says his Jaguar car was towed outside an Italian eaterie in Manchester.

Lindegaard was unexpectedly interrupted by a fan who alerted the keeper to the drama outside the Cicchetti restaurant.

Lindegaard failed to stop his luxury motor - which is believed to have been illegally parked - from being impounded as the tow truck made a getaway.
