Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard hopes a late playing return earns him a recall for Denmark's Euros squad.
The Daily Mail says Lindegaard was the penalty shoot-out hero for Manchester United on Tuesday as he made his comeback from an ankle injury.
The Denmark international has been out of action for three months after suffering ligament damage in training.
Whilst he is unlikely to get his first-team place back before the end of the season, Lindegaard might at least make a claim to be in his country's Euro 2012 squad.
