Man Utd keeper Grant full of praise for Henderson since return

Manchester United veteran goalkeeper Lee Grant is full of praise for Dean Henderson after his return to the club.

Henderson played the full 90 minutes in the Carabao Cup wins over Luton Town and Brighton, keeping clean sheets in both.

“It's hugely important," Grant told United's official site about a goalkeeper's focus.

“We like to dominate possession and we like to dominate the opposition so we're not always at the heart of the action. As Dean showed really well on a couple of occasions you have to be ready when called upon."

Henderson isn't the only goalkeeper Grant has been impressed with at United so far this season, however, as he also has high praise for De Gea and youngster Nathan Bishop.

“I have [been impressed], but not just from him,“ the 37-year-old added.

"Nathan Bishop has been outstanding in training and all the lads will tell you the same. David [De Gea] has come back with a really high level so I'm really pleased for David and how he has started the season as well. The goalkeeping department is in really good shape."
