Manchester United are being linked with Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.
The Mirror says Reds boss Roy Hodgson wants a clear answer from Torres over his commitment when he visits the striker in Madrid this week.
Torres has hinted he wants to know what Liverpool have planned for next season and he is aware that there are some big clubs waiting for him if he says he wants to leave.
Chelsea, Manchester City and even Manchester United are ready to make offers if Liverpool sell Torres - at his own request - and the chase would start immediately after the Hodgson meeting.
Liverpool would want around £50 million for the striker whose injury-hit and misfiring club campaign ended with some low-key displays at the World Cup.
