Man Utd join Bosman battle for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot

Manchester United have expressed interest in PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

L'Equipe says Real Madrid are being heavily linked with the Frenchman and he has made no secret of his admiration for the club or their manager, fellow countryman, Zinedine Zidane.

If Juan Mata and Ander Herrera both depart then United will be desperately short of depth and quality in the middle of the park and as a result they are turning to Rabiot.

United have paid attention to Rabiot in the past to replace Pogba but report that no offer has yet been made.

However, Rabiot is reportedly an attractive proposition as he wouldn't demand a transfer fee and free up money to be spent elsewhere in the squad.
