Manchester United chiefs haven't dropped their interest in Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

Marca says United have been 'stalking' the Croatian midfielder, along with Inter Milan and Juventus.

But the Spanish newspaper claim he has ruled out a January move and will stay at the Nou Camp until at least the end of the season.

Indeed, Rakitic stated last week: "I want to give my all and if I can play here then I've always said that there's no better place than Barcelona to keep winning trophies, it's the perfect place for me.

"I want to enjoy myself and try to help the team to improve."
