Former Manchester United star Dwight Yorke has sensationally labelled Macarthur as a pub team.
Yorke was scathing in his views of the standard of football in Australia this week.
The ex-forward has departed the A-League side after only 13 games as manager.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Yorke told his players they were a pub team after a loss to Adelaide.
He also questioned the professionalism of the players at the club, which did not go down well with ownership.
Yorke was eventually let go via mutual consent, wit the 51-year-old unlikely to work in Australia again.
