Manchester United defender Henning Berg says Roberto Mancini can only blame himself for Mario Balotelli's antics.

Berg insists the City manager knew what he was getting when he signed the former Inter Milan striker.

He told talkSPORT: "Balotelli has upset people throughout his career. It's always a risk when you bring a player like that into a club.

"Mancini knew him and must have thought he could handle him, but this is what you get with a player like Balotelli.

"You get some fantastic goals but also the other side where he doesn't look interested, doesn't follow the rules, he [acts like] he's his own man and is not part of the group."
