Manchester United fullback Alex Telles is delighted to have made Brazil's World Cup squad.
Telles left United for Sevilla on loan after Erik ten Hag told him he was not in his plans.
And the move has worked out with the 29-year-old being named in the Brazil squad for the World Cup.
The left-back has played 18 times for the Spanish club and despite the team having a poor season him playing regularly has secured his place in Tite's team.
Telles told TNT Sports before the announcement of Brazil's squad said leaving United was impacted by the World Cup: “Obviously. If I say no, I'll be lying. I really believe in preparation.
“I know I'm on the radar, I know I was called for the last call-ups. So obviously having more and more minutes, playing as much as possible.
“I know it depends a lot on what I do at my club for me to be willing and always at a high level, so if I get called up for the national team, to be prepared."
