Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra says they won't take Champions League opponents Schalke lightly.
Evra, 29, insists Schalke will give Sir Alex Ferguson's side a real test.
He said: "We know Schalke will not be easy. The way they beat Inter Milan - the reigning champions - shows you that.
"And we remember what happened playing against a German team last season when we were knocked out by Bayern Munich. You have to respect every team and we will."
Evra knows Schalke are rated underdogs by most critics but refuses to get carried away.
"I have a lot of respect for Schalke," he said.
"They are in the semi-finals because they desperately want to be there."
Meanwhile, Evra is well aware that a final slot at Wembley would be a great way to end the season.
"We want this season to finish on a big high," he added.
