Manchester United are watching Ajax youngster Viktor Fischer.

The Daily Express says Fischer has been the subject of interest from both United and bitter rivals Manchester City after he rejected the chance to sign a new contract with the Dutch heavyweights.

Although interest seemed to have cooled in recent weeks, United will be on alert once again after Fischer produced a mesmerising performance during Ajax's 3-0 derby win over Feyenoord.

Fischer helped himself to a brace, and both goals were of the highest quality.
