Manchester United defender Raphael Varane has been offered to Real Madrid.

Ok Diario says agents for United have invited Real Madrid to bid for their former player.

Varane is aware of the approach and open to returning to Madrid. Indeed in March, Varane said: "I will finish my career in Real Madrid, in the United or in the Lens."

However, Real do not have plans to re-sign the Frenchman, now in his third season with United.

While they're short of options at the back, Real cannot cover Varane's €11m salary and would prefer to focus on younger targets.
